Xbira 250mg Tablet Xbira 250 mg ( Abiraterone Acetate By cipla ) is a medicine used in metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (formerly hormone-resistant or hormone-refractory prostate cancer) with combination of prednisone. Cipla Xbira 250 mg is a prescription Drug and should be used under Proper Medical Guidance and Advice.

Warning & Precautions

Veenat should not be consumed without asking your doctor if you have ever had liver or kidney disease, pulmonary fibrosis (scarring of the lungs), low white blood cell levels, bone marrow problems or low blood platelet levels. Veenat is also avoided if you have a history of swelling (edema) or fluid retention or if you have had your thyroid gland removed.
Should not be consumed without asking the doctor if the patient ever had liver or kidney disease or pulmonary fibrosis (scarring of the lungs). Not advised if the patient is allergic to the medicine or any of its constituents. Kindly inform the doctor instantly, if allergic reactions cause (closing of the throat, difficulty breathing & swelling of the lips, tongue, face, hives, liver problems, lung problems, severe nausea, eye problems, loss of appetite, vomiting or diarrhea during treatment are noticed.

Xbira tablets can have serious side effects on patients like fluid retention in the body (edema), low level of potassium in the blood (hypokalemia) or high blood pressure (hypertension). Therefore, before starting your treatment, hold a frank discussion with your doctor regarding the benefits and inherent risks. It is better to bring a friend or family member with you so that s/he can take down important points during the discussion, especially regarding the side effects. Inform your doctor immediately if any of the following symptoms appear:
Abnormally fast heart rate
Dizziness
Nausea
Confusion
Lightheadedness
A feeling of weakness in your muscles
An unexplained swelling of your feet or legs
Sudden discontinuation of prednisone can lead to adrenal or hepatic problems for which your doctor will advice you to undergo the necessary blood tests.
