Cimivir
Sofosbuvir is used in combination with other antiviral drugs for treatment of patients with viral infection that damages the liver (Hepatitis C) including those patients who have human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection or liver cancer or are awaiting a liver transplant.
Recommended Dosage: The recommended dosage of Cimivir is 60
mg, taken orally, once daily in combination with Sofosbuvir for 12
weeks. Daclavir may be taken with or without food. The optimal
duration of Daclavir and Sofosbuvir for patients with cirrhosis has
not been established.
Take extreme care to avoid pregnancy in female patients or female partners of male patients who are on treatment with sofosbuvir.
Take necessary precautions as sofosbuvir does not prevent the spread of infection to other people through sexual contact, sharing needles, or contact with blood.
Chills, ulcers, sores, nausea, pale skin, lower back or side pain, trouble sleeping., unusual tiredness or weakness, diarrhea, fever, muscle pain/ cramps, mouth ulcers, skin rash/ itching, decreased appetite, headache
